rebuilding politics from scratch

“A New Era, A New Party”

The time is upon us; when building a new way of approaching the politics of a Presidential election every day counts. Our task at hand is to create a positive direction for political discourse and try to reverse the process of increasing negativity and divisiveness that has plagued recent election cycles.

Our government has been guided into gridlock with trivial pursuits while important issues are ignored or actively hidden from public view. Our system has become a game of favors, political retaliation and nonsensical legal battles. The fury and the frustration of everyday citizens has shown itself in the only form available: apathy at the ballot box.

It is time we took back the Oval Office.

We are entering into a pact with the American People by endeavoring to offer a sensible alternative to the partisan politics that have plagued this great nation for generations. This website is our public forum. Here, we want to make contact with the American public and build political solutions from scratch. Let your voice be heard and help us shape the policies that will help shape our nation in coming century.

Look to these pages as the quest for the White House gathers steam. Offer your input and expect direct, timely responses. We hope we can earn your participation and look forward to an enriching experience for all.

Who “We” Are

Jeffrey Poehlmann and Kevin I. Makice are long time friends and political companions. Both spent their childhood in the Midwestern town of Woodstock, Illinois, the sort of middle-American community often used to illustrate the importance of “Traditional Values.” While Kevin journeyed to Tennessee and Louisiana before returning to the Midwest, Jeffrey has spent much of the last two decades in Los Angeles.

Both have worked extensively with various aspects of the media and have grown more and more frustrated with how national politics has become almost controlled by media perception. Now, they are taking it upon themselves to affect some positive social change on the national level.
